By funding the professorship and the new research center, the Eckenstein-Geigy Foundation promotes the research and development of medicines for newborns, infants, toddlers, and adolescents. For optimal and individualized use in children, medications are tested even more precisely for their efficacy and safety and put into a child-friendly dosage form.
