The goal of the Chair of Epidemiology and Household Economics is to link epidemiology with economics and the social sciences. Quantitative models and concepts are developed to strengthen health systems in Africa and in Switzerland. Thanks to scientifically validated concepts and models, the program is expected to generate sustainable impulses worldwide.
