A home for unaccompanied refugee children in Serbia

The House of Rescue offers a safe place for up to 15 unaccompanied refugee children. Borderfree Association not only provides these children and adolescents a warm place to sleep and live. They also receive schooling, food, medical care and, last but not least, a very familiar home. For example, the children receive Serbian lessons from a local teacher directly in the house on a weekly basis. The local carers look after the children with great love and commitment. To date, more than 45 children have found shelter at the House of Rescue since the project start in January 2019.
