Trees for future

Trees for future

In the Andes of Bolivia local farmer families learn to produce plants, how to do reforestation, forest maintenance and how to market the naturally renewable resource wood. Local beneficiaries are trained in forestry and receive long term perspectives, a real alternative to an often not very fertile agriculture. By planting location adapted trees, water and wind erosion gets controlled and favours so significantly the local microclimate.
